FLORENCE, S.C. – The Belmont Abbey men's soccer team played at Francis Marion Wednesday night. The Patriots (3-0) captured the 1-0 win over the Crusaders (1-3) scoring a goal 20 minutes in to the first half. Albin Baathe led The Abbey in shots with two and Ben Knust recorded three saves.

• Francis Marion's Alvaro Zamora scored the only goal of the contest in the first half.
