Box Score ANDERSON, S.C. -- DeQuan Abrom scored 20 points, but a season-low shooting percentage sent 20th-ranked Belmont Abbey to a 75-64 defeat at Anderson in non-conference men's basketball Tuesday afternoon.
The Crusaders (8-3) hit just 22 of 53 (41.5 percent) from the field en route to its lowest offensive output of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Abrom reached 20 points for the 11th straight game, but was still held to over six points less than his season average.
- Quest Aldridge and Romeao Ferguson each tallied 11 points. The total for Aldridge matched his career-high.
- The Abbey connected on just four of 18 from beyond the three-point arc and committed 17 turnovers.
- The Crusaders held a 37-27 rebounding advantage with Charles Solomon the leader with eight.
- The Trojans led 35-32 at the half, but BAC stormed out of the gate in the second with a 17-8 push for a 49-43 lead.
- However, Anderson hit back-to-back threes to start an 11-0 run and never trailed again.
