DeQuan Abrom scored a game-high 27 points and grabbed eight rebounds and
Bosko Bojovic posted his first career double-double with 15 points and 14 boards, lifting 25th-ranked Belmont Abbey to a 98-95 Conference Carolinas men's basketball victory over Lees-McRae Saturday night at the Wheeler Center.
Bojovic broke a 95-95 tie with 15.9 seconds left when he hit one of two free throws after the Bobcats (8-3, 1-2) rallied from 12 down early in the second half. Both his point and rebounding totals were career bests.

Quest Aldridge, who finished with nine points, grabbed the rebound of Lees-McRae's attempted game-winner, then hit both free throws with one second left to seal the win.

Belmont Abbey held a 52-32 rebounding advantage, but committed 18 turnovers.

The Crusaders outshot LMC 49.3% to 46.4% from the field, but hit three fewer three-pointers and made two fewer free throws.
- The Abbey extended a 50-42 halftime lead to 54-42 with the first four points of the second period.

Lees-McRae never led in the contest, although there were five ties.
- Belmont Abbey (8-2, 4-0) had two starters in foul trouble with Ferguson and Sean Halloran both fouling out before the final media timeout.
