WILSON, N.C. -- Cassidy Bonito tallied 30 assists to become Belmont Abbey's all-time assist leader and Andie Meredith added 13 kills and as the Crusaders defeated Barton 3-0 (25-22, 26-=24, 25-21) Friday afternoon in Conference Carolinas women's volleyball action. Bonito now has 3,378 during her four years, topping the previous mark of 3,358.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Belmont Abbey hit .189 in the contest, compared to .106 for the Bulldogs.
• Meredith connected at a .333 pace, while Carie Jane Valentine added eight kills against no errors for a .667 clip.
• Bonito added nine digs and two aces to her assist total.
• Mackenzie Chrapliwy registered nine kills and nine digs.
• Paige Rawlins and Hailey Ryan reached double figures in digs with 17 and 10, respectively.
