MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Allyson Elliott scored in the first half, but the Belmont Abbey women's soccer team lost 2-1 at the no. 1 seed Mount Olive this evening.  The Abbey finishes the 2019 campaign with a 12-5-3 record.

How it Happened

• Belmont Abbey came out shooting, taking three shots in the opening 11 minutes
• With 3:34 left in the half, Elliott put the Crusaders on the board for a 1-0 halftime lead
• The Crusaders continued to take shots and corner kicks to open up the second
• The Trojans tied the score in the 65^th minute, and the 2-1 lead in the 83^rd
• Lauryn Harding made six saves in goal
• The Crusaders outshot the Trojans 17-13 in the contest
