Harding Makes Four Saves in Season Debut

GAFFNEY, S.C. - The Belmont Abbey women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at Limestone College this evening.  It was the first loss of the season for the Crusaders, who are now 5-1 on the year and 1-1 in Conference Carolinas play.  The Saints now stand at 6-1 overall, and 4-0 in conference play.

How it Happened

  • Sydney Pluhacek took the first Abbey shot in the 16th minute, which sailed just inches high of the goal
  • Limestone led 2-0 at halftime
  • Pluhacek got another shot in the 54th minute
  • Lauryn Harding, who came in the 52nd minute, made four saves in goal in her first match this season
