Box Score 2 BELMONT, N.C. --

Saturday afternoon, but Belmont Abbey dropped both ends, 2-1 and 5-1 at Crusader Field. The Abbey is now 6-10 in 2018. Young Harris is now 9-6. Neyhouse finished the day 3-for-5, while Pereiro was 2-for-4.

Claire Doyle.
Neyhouse and Doyle each had two hits in the contest, while Pereiro and

In the nightcap, the Mountain Lions opened a 5-0 lead after three runs in the third and single scores in the fifth and sixth. Then Wilson hit a towering drive over the left-field fence in the bottom of the sixth to put the Crusaders on the board.

Annabeth Watkins (2-5) took the loss.
After playing six games at home in a five-day span, Belmont Abbey takes the road Wednesday for a double-header at Lenoir-Rhyne.
