LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Belmont Abbey Field Hockey team dropped a 3-0 decision at Bellarmine University this afternoon.  The setback puts The Abbey at 3-7 this season.  The Knights improved to 6-7.

How it Happened

• Belmont Abbey came out shooting first, keeping pressure on the Bellarmine goalkeeper
• Bellarmine scored its first goal just under nine minutes into the contest, and led 1-0 at halftime
• Camrynn Aiello and Sophia Fuege led the Crusaders with two shots each
• Paige Hinds made four saves in goal for Belmont Abbey
• The Crusaders took five penalty corners in the game
