The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team opened the 2014 fall season with matches against Limestone and Spartanburg Methodist this afternoon in Gaffney. No team results were counted as all of the matches were played to determine individual rankings.
In the Spartanburg Methodist match, the doubles team of Conner McMann and Juan Baez rallied back from a 6-2 deficit to win 9-7. Freshman Will Bezy also picked up his first collegiate victory with an 8-4 win.
