The Belmont Abbey men's soccer team lost at Barton by a 1-0 score this evening as the Bulldogs broke through in the 84th minute. Barton improves to 6-4-0 overall and 2-2-0 in league play, while the Abbey slips to 2-6-2 overall and 1-4-0 in league play.

The contest was a scoreless stalemate until the 84th minute when Barton's Jovan Gracia beat Luke Whelan for his first goal of the year. That goal turned out to be the final shot of the game.

Barton attempted 15 shots on the night, three of which hit the crossbar. Belmont Abbey attempted seven shots and two corner kicks.

Whelan stopped three shots.
