In game one, Pfeiffer took a 1-0 lead in the first but it was short lived, as the Crusaders exploded for six runs in the second. The first three batters reached to load the bases for Carol-Anne Sherrill, who, after a popout, singled to left that chased home Catelyn Presley to tie the game at one. Following a strikeout, Nikki Faust plated the go-ahead run with an infield single, followed by a bases clearing double to left by twin sister Amber Faust that upped the Abbey's lead to 5-1. Kaitlyn Jones capped the rally with a single that scored Faust.

The Crusaders added one more in the fourth as Jones's sacrifice fly to left was deep enough to score Hannah Bright. Bright led off the frame with a single to center.

Two innings later, the Abbey ended the game by scoring two runs, both on bases loaded walks that made the lead grow to eight, ending the game.

Samantha Jacobs allowed just one run on five hits in six innings, striking out two, to earn the win. Lindsey Russell took the loss after allowing six runs on eight hits in an inning and two thirds. She fanned two.

Belmont Abbey rapped out 12 hits as Sherrill, Bright and Nikki Faust collected seven between them. Sherrill finished with three, while Bright and Faust had two each. Amber Faust drove in four runs on one hit. Jones finished with two RBI.

In game two, all six of the game's runs were scored in the first inning. Pfeiffer jumped plated five in the top of the frame as it took advantage of three Abbey errors.

The Crusaders pulled one back in the bottom half on an RBI single from Nikki Faust, scoring Sherrill, who led off the inning with a walk.

Belmont Abbey made some noise in the seventh, as it loaded the bases with two outs, but a flyout ended the game.

Nikki Faust was charged with the loss inside the circle, as she gave up five runs, only one earned, on six hits in five innings. She struck out two. Sam Jarmusch went the distance for the Falcons, as she yielded one run on eight hits, fanning four.

Bright led the Abbey with two hits as the Crusaders totaled eight.
