The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team outlasted the visiting North Greenville Crusaders 5-4 this afternoon in a match that had to be moved from Sacred Heart Courts to the lighted Davis Park in Belmont so the teams could gain a result.
With the Abbey leading the team score 4-3 at 8:00 p.m., the two teams switched venues to Davis Park in Belmont, where the number four and six singles matches had to be completed.
Once settled in at Davis Park, North Greenville's Juan Vargas defeated Tim Tanko to tie the match at four, but Idris Moya broke the stalemate with a 6-4, 6-4 win at number six to give the Abbey its second victory of the year.
