Caitlin Hankins, Lydia Schellenberg and Hannah Schellenberg all recorded ten kills as part of a balanced Crusader offense as the Belmont Abbey women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 sweep at Barton this evening. Set scores were 25-9, 25-13 and 25-18. The win moves the Abbey record to 10-3 overall and 2-1 in Conference Carolinas, while Barton slips to 3-8 overall and 2-2 in Conference Carolinas.

The Crusaders hit a blistering .433 for the match as Hankins slamed down ten kills on 12 attacks with no errors (.833), while Lydia Schellenberg hit a torrid .389 and Hannah Schellenberg posted a .320 clip. Lydia Schellenberg added a match high 18 digs and Hannah Schellenberg posted ten. Kay Schellenberg, the oldest of the three, handed out 39 assists and also had two service aces.

Kati Wood led Barton with ten kills as the Bulldogs logged a .129 attack. The Crusaders outdug Barton by 20 (56-36) and posted seven service aces.
