The win improves the Pfeiffer record to 4-10 overall and 1-4 in Conference Carolinas, while the Abbey drops to 0-8 overall and 0-6 in Conference Carolinas. The match, along with the women's matches, were cut short due to rain and lightning, but the team score had already been decided.

The lone Abbey win came at number one doubles as Alex Gradenwitz and Conner McMann defeated Sebastian Wernecke and Orlando Castillo by an 8-3 score.
