The Belmont Abbey men's tennis team suffered a 7-2 loss to the
visiting King College Tornado this afternoon at Sacred Heart
Courts. The Abbey is now 0-3 on the year.
The lone Crusader wins came at number one doubels as Conner
McMann and Alex Gradenwitz earned an 8-5 victory, and Tim Tanko won
at number six singles by a 6-4, 6-3 score.
Gabriel Trombini and Tom Wigley lost at number two doubles by a
8-5 score, and Patrick Noelke and Idris Moya lost 8-0.
At singles, McMann suffered a 6-4, 6-3 loss at number one, and
Gradenwitz lost 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) at number two. Trombini was defeated
6-3, 6-2 at number three, and Noelke lost 1-6, 7-6 (7-4), 5-10 in
the third. Moya suffered a 6-4, 6-3 defeat.
