Belmont Abbey senior defender Brandi Clark scored the only goal of the match in the 63rd minute off of a feed from Kristin Foster to lift the Crusaders women's soccer team past Erskine, 1-0 this evening in a Conference Carolinas matchup. The Abbey extends its winning streak to three as it moves to 6-6-0 overall and 5-1-0 in Conference Carolinas, while Erskine drops to 3-7-1 overall and 3-4-0 in Conference Carolinas.

Clark scored her second goal in as many matches, as she found the back of the net at the 62:29 mark as Foster sent a pass to the front of the goal, where Clark settled the ball and drove a shot past Ashton Burgeess for her second goal of the year.

The Abbey completely controlled the match, outshooting Erskine 11-2, including 8-0 in the second half, and won the corner kick battle by a staggering 13-1 count.

Hannah Kohls did not make a save in the net, while Burgess stopped five shots.
