Women's Volleyball Moves To 22-4 With 3-0 Sweep At Coker

Angela Jubb and Hannah Schellenberg both ripped 13 kills to lead an Abbey offense that hit .366 as the Crusaders women's volleyball team added to their single season records of 22 overall wins and 13 Conference Carolinas victories with a 3-0 sweep at Coker this evening. Set scores were 25-10, 25-16 and 25-20. The triumph moves the Abbey's ledger to 22-4 overall and 13-2 in Conference Carolinas, while Coker drops to 7-20 overall and 6-9 in league play.

Jubb hit .400 and Schellenberg posted a .345 attack as the Crusaders posted just nine errors to go along with 46 kills on 101 total attacks. Lydia Schellenberg added eight kills and Caitlin Hankins posted seven as she hit .500 for the night. Hannah Schellenberg added a pair of service aces, as did her older sister Kay Schellenberg, who handed out 40 assists on the night. Lydia Schellenberg's 12 digs were a team-high, while Hannah and Kay both totaled nine each. Julianne Pisano also had nine digs as the Crusaders registered 48 on the night, four more than Coker. Jubb and Tori Jensen both had a pair of block assists.

Coker was led by Catie Truzzolino's seven kills as the Cobras recorded a .057 total attack.
