Belmont Abbey junior Remick Tiller led a pair of Crusaders in double figure kills with 13, as she hit .367 for the match, as the Crusaders volleyball team extended their winning streak to three with a 3-0 sweep at Converse this evening. Set scores were 25-23, 25-19 ad 25-21. The Crusaders, which have won nine straight sets in their three match winning streak, move to 7-4 overall and remain unbeaten in Conference Carolinas play with a 3-0 ledger. Converse drops to 2-5 overall and 1-3 in Conference Carolinas.

Tiller led all players with 13 kills with just two errors on 30 total attacks. She added two service aces and six assists. Angela Jubb added ten kils on 27 attacks with just three errors (.259). Kay Schellenberg handed out 38 assists.

Defensively, the Crusaders won the dig battle by a count of 64-53 as four Abbey players reached double figures. Lydia Schellenberg led the way with 14, while Tiller had 11. Kay Schellenberg and Bria James both had ten. Schellenberg finished with three block assists.
