The Belmont Abbey volleyball team finished 1-1 on the final day of the University of Charleston (WV) Invitational, losing to the host Charleston 3-0 and defeating Bluefield State 3-0. The Crusaders completed the two-day tournament with a 3-1 and now sport a 6-2 ledger for the 2010 season.

The Abbey fell to Charleston 25-18, 25-21 and 25-19 and defeated Bluefield State 25-18, 25-18 and 25-16.

After playing its first eight matches on the road, the Crusaders entertain Pfeiffer in their home opener Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
