The Barton College men's tennis team defeated Belmont Abbey 9-0 this afternoon.

Cesar Grobel defeated Damien Nelson 6-1, 6-0; P.A. Desilets beat Trey Ennis 6-0, 6-0; Diego Salinas topped Rob Franer 6-0, 6-1; and Eduardo Stefani stopped Derrick Funderburke 6-0, 6-0 at Nos. 1-4, respectively.

Roman Mendoza and Will Cobb received forfeits at Nos. 5 and 6.

At No. 1 doubles, Peron-Desilets won 8-1 over Nelson-Ennis and Mendoza-Cobb beat Framer-Funderburke 8-0 at No. 2. Salinas-Stefani got a forfeit in the No. 3 spot.
