Men's Basketball Loses At Limestone, 87-72

The Belmont Abbey men's basketball team fell at Limestone 87-72 this evening in a Conference Carolinas matchup. Limestone climbs to 3-1 in the conference with the win (7-2 overall) as the Crusaders fall to 1-3 in league play (5-5 overall).

Richard Barbee led the Crusaders with 19 points. Patrick Kuhlman had a game-high five assists to go along with 15 points.

Danny Friend scored a game-high 27 points for the Saints as he pulled down six boards and tallied three assists. Anthony Middleton and Stewart Clark scored 12 points each, while Jarrell Douglass had 11 points. Tyron Evans also reached double-scoring figures with 10 points.

Limestone finished 29-55 shooting from the field (52.7%) and the Crusaders were 24-58 (41.4%).
