three points as it opened the game on a 13-1 run to set the tone
early. Converse would gradually reduce the lead down to as few as
five points, and with under 30 seconds left it cut the Abbey

seven seconds left sealed the win.

led the way, while Asha Hardaway added 11 and Courney Naquin posted
ten. Daniel grabbed nine rebounds, six on the offensive glass, as
the Abbey finished with 35 for the game, 17 on the offensive end.
Daniel also had six steals, while Giddens and Hardaway both posted
three.
Ashley Arff led Converse and all scorers with 18 points. She was
the only Converse player to reach double figures, as it shot 42
percent for the contest.
Both teams combined for 54 turnovers, with Converse turning it
over 30 times and the Abbey 24.
