The Belmont Abbey men's soccer team fell at second-ranked Lees-McRae by a 3-0 score this evening in a Conference Carolinas matchup. The Bobcats remain unbeaten at 10-0-0 overall and 6-0-0 in Conference Carolinas, while the Abbey drops to 5-5-1 overall and 3-4-0 in Conference Carolinas.

Lees-McRae scored all three of its goals in the first half, the first coming in the 11th minute as Berin Boracic scored on an unassisted tally. 13 minutes later, the lead grew to 2-0 on a tally by Luke Perry. The Bobcats would close the scoring at exactly 34:00 as Richard Guffens found the back of the net.

Abbey goalkeeper Louis Liberatore made eight saves in the net.
