The Belmont Abbey volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to the visiting Anderson University Trojans this afternoon at the Wheeler Center. Game scores were 21-25, 21-25 and 13-25.

Belmont Abbey hit. 018 for the match (25 kills, 23 errors on 109 total attacks) as Steffanie Holler led the way with seven kills, while Morgan Kirby and Bria James both added four. James led all players with four service aces. Kay Schellenberg handed out 16 assists. Defensively, Belmont Abbey posted 42 digs as Kirby and Taylor Stern both had ten.

Anderson was led by Jamie Lancaster's 12 kills as the Trojans notched 40 on the afternoon with 14 errors on 105 total attacks (.248). Paulette Rivers and Adria Mullaney both contributed seven, with Mullaney leading Anderson with a pair of service aces. Lindsey Doggett distributed 34 assists.

Defensively, Rivers posted three total blocks (two solo and one assisted), while Lancaster led all players with 13 digs. Mullaney and libero Katie Rich each finished with 11.
