The Belmont Abbey volleyball team fell 3-2 this evening to the visiting Erskine College Flying Fleet. Game scores were 19-25, 27-25, 16-25, 25-22 and 13-15.

Stefanie Holler led the Abbey with 17 kills, while Remick Tiller added 14. Bria James and Jennifer Angelich posted 11 and ten, respectively. Kay Schellenberg handed out 38 assists. Defensively, the Abbey posted 78 digs as Taylor Stern led the way with 18, while Morgan Kirby finished with 16. Holler had 15 while Tiller and James posted 11 and ten, respectively.

Erskine posted 58 kills as Liz Massey tied for the match high with 17, while Allison Albers and Lauren Stewart contributed 14 and 13, respectively. Larz Chabra notched a match-high 47 assists and 12 digs. Massey led all players with 20 digs.
