Belmont Abbey senior forward Emmanual Yamson scored both of the Crusaders goals, including the golden goal at the 102:33 mark in double overtime as the Abbey earned its third-straight win with a 2-1 double overtime triumph over Tusculum this afternoon at Alumni Field. Belmont Abbey improves to 8-6-1 while the Pioneers drop to 7-3-1.

The Crusaders were outshot 8-3, but Yamson put the Abbey on top 1-0 in the 34th minute with an unassisted tally that beat Lance Moore. The Pioneers gained the equalizer late in regulation, as Anteneh Lemma connected on a penalty kick in the 87th minute to knot the match at one apiece.

With neither team scoring in the last three minutes of regulation and through the first overtime period, the Yamson ended it in the 103rd minute, as Sunny Makh fed him a through ball, and fired a low shot through Moore's legs for the winner.
