The Belmont Abbey volleyball team fell at Lees-McRae 3-0 this evening. Set scores were 17-25, 16-25 and 8-25. The Crusaders fall to 4-8 overall and 3-2 in Conference Carolinas.

Belmont Abbey was led offensively by Sydney Steffen, who finished with five kills. Emily Frohnapfel finished with four, while Bria James and Stefanie Holler both added three. Molly Gwaltney handed out eight assists to go along with a pair of service aces, while Rebekah Weber finished with six assists and one kill.

Carrie Markham led the Abbey defense with nine digs, while James posted eight. Megan Watts added five, and Gwaltney and Weber both posted four.
