The Belmont Abbey volleyball team wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 loss to Mount Olive in a match that was played at Barton College. Set scores were 12-25, 18-25 and 24-26. Mount Olive improves to 16-16 overall and 12-7 in Conference Carolinas, while the Abbey slips to 9-18 overall and 8-11 in Conference Carolinas.

Bria James led the Abbey offense with eight kills, while Stefanie Holler added seven. Leanne Cassandra posted five, while Sydney Steffen added two and Molly Gwaltney handed out one. Gwaltney finished with 19 assists, while Rebekah Weber had one.

Defensively, Carrie Markham led the Abbey with five digs, while James and Megan Watts both finished with a pair. Holler led the way with three blocks, while Cassandra, Gwaltney and Steffen each had two.

The Abbey will open the Conference Carolinas Tournament Monday night at 6:30 when it hosts Converse.
