The Belmont Abbey volleyball team fell 3-0 at Pfeiffer this evening in a Conference Carolinas matchup. Set scores were 21-25, 22-25 and 13-25. Pfeiffer is now 25-4 overall and 17-1 in Conference Carolinas, while the Abbey slips to 9-17 overall and 8-10 in Conference Carolinas.

Sydney Steffen led the Abbey with ten kills, while Leanne Cassandra finished with four. Emily Frohnapfel and Rebekah Weber both finished with a pair. Molly Gwaltney handed out 11 assists and Weber had five. Gwaltney also had a pair of service aces and Carrie Markham had one.

Defensively, Stefanie Holler led the way with four blocks, while Frohnapfel and Cassandra both had three. Markham led the way with six digs, while Steffen and Gwaltney both had three.
