The Belmont Abbey volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to visiting Pfeiffer University this evening in a Conference Carolinas matchup. Set scores were 17-25, 23-25 and 19-25. The Falcons improve to 15-3 overall and remain perfect in Conference play with a 9-0 mark, while the Abbey, which had its two-match winning streak snapped, dips to 6-10 overall and 5-4 in Conference Carolinas.

The Abbey was led offensively by Leanne Cassandra, who posted nine kills, while Bria James added five to go along with 13 digs. Rebekah Weber handed out 11 assists, and Molly Gwaltney posted ten. Defensively, James led the way with 13 digs, while Megan Watts registered ten.

Pfeiffer was led by Victoria Parrish's 11 kills, while Petra Ljubicic's finished with ten. Brittany Dickens added eight. Morgan Liebert handed out 36 assists. Brittany Poole led the Falcons defensively with 15 digs, while Lauren Dickens and Ljubicic both added 11.
