The Belmont Abbey volleyball team fell to visiting Mount Olive College by a 3-0 score this afternoon at the Wheeler Center. Set scores were 21-25, 18-25 and 21-25. The Trojans improve to 13-14 overall and 9-5 in Conference Carolinas, while the Abbey slips to 8-15 overall and 7-8 in Conference Carolinas.

Sydney Steffen led the Abbey offense with 12 kills, while Bria James posted seven to go along with 11 digs. Rebekah Weber handed out 15 assists, while Molly Gwaltney posted 13.

Mount Olive was led by Alicia Mote's 16 kills. Joanie Werling handed out 33 assists to go along with seven digs. Mote led all Trojans with eight digs, while Mallory Peavler finished with seven.
