The Belmont Abbey volleyball team earned a key 3-1 win at Limestone this evening. Set scores were 25-22, 29-27, 12-25 and 25-17. The Abbey improves to 6-9 overall and 5-3 in Conference Carolinas in its second-straight win, while the Lady Saints slip to 8-9 overall and 5-2 in Conference Carolinas.

The Abbey was led offensively by Emily Frohnapfel, who posted 10 kills, while Sydney Steffen added nine. Bria James and Leanne Cassandra both tallied eight. Stefanie Holler and Rebekah Weber both finished with four. Weber handed out 22 assists and Molly Gwaltney had 11. Carrie Markham, James and Gwaltney each had two service aces.

Defensively, Markham posted a team-high 18 digs, while Gwaltney had 11. Megan Watts tallied eight, while James finished with seven and Weber five. Frohnapfel, Cassandra and James each had two blocks.
