Belmont Abbey senior defender Kyle Fenner scored the only goal of the match off of an assist from Paul Goding just 2:08 into overtime as the Crusaders men's soccer team earned a 1-0 win at Mars Hill this evening at Meares Stadium. The Abbey improves to 6-5, while the Lions slip to 5-5.

Fenner scored a long goal off of an indirect free kick at the 92:08 mark to give the Abbey the win. The Crusaders outshot the Lions 11-7 in the match, and goalkeeper Bryan Alenky made three saves. Four of the six Abbey wins have been shutouts.
