MISENHEIMER, NC - The Belmont Abbey volleyball team fell 3-0 at Pfeiffer University Friday night. The loss snapped a three-game win streak for the Abbey, who are now 7-18 overall and 5-9 in Conference Carolinas.

The Crusaders lost the first game 30-19 but took the Falcons to the limit in the second game before falling 31-29. The Abbey dropped the final game by a score of 30-19.

Sydney Steffen finished with seven kills and two blocks while Emily Frohnapfel tallied seven kills and three blocks to lead the Crusaders. Allison Smith totaled 21 assists for BAC and Leanne Cassandra had four kills and three blocks.

Belmont Abbey will next host Lenoir-Rhyne College on Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM in the Wheeler Center.
