MONROE, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's golf team opened play at the Jerry Surratt Memorial Intercollegiate Monday at Stonebridge Golf Club.
 
The Crusaders have two teams represented in the tournament with Katie Cullen leading the way for Belmont Abbey with rounds of 74 and 77. Ella Wiklander also had a pair of rounds in the 70s with rounds of 76 and 77.
 
Anna Tate was the top finisher for the second team with rounds of 84 and 93.
 
Wingate, the host of the tournament, leads at 8-under par with Amely Bochaton, leading the individual standings
