MONROE, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey men's golf team concluded play at the Ralph Hargett Memorial Intercollegiate on a chilly Tuesday at Rolling Hills Country Club.
The Crusaders played 27 holes Tuesday after weather delays Monday suspended the completion of the second round.
Max Newton was the top finisher for the Crusaders as he finished with a three-round total of 218, 2-over par.
Eduardo Arango had the best round of the day for the Abbey, finishing with a 2-under par round of 70 in the second round.
For Belmont Abbey's second team,
Will Muldoon was the top finisher, with rounds of 74 and 73 to close out the tournament. Host Wingate won the team tournament with a 26-under par total while Emmanuel's Gabriel Hull with an 11-under par total for three rounds.
