MONROE, N.C. — Ella Wiklander led the way for the Belmont Abbey women's golf team Tuesday as the Crusaders completed play at the Jerry Surratt Memorial Intercollegiate at Stonebridge Golf Club.
Wiklander finished with a 1-over par 73 that included four birdies on the day and was one of one two Crusaders to shoot rounds in the 70s.
Katie Cullen also shot 76 to finish with a three-round total of 227.
Belmont Abbey finished with a three-round total of 983 after closing with a 317 Tuesday.
The Belmont Abbey B team improved on Monday's two rounds with a final round of 365.
Kellyn Arnold shot a closing 80 as her best round of the week.
Host Wingate won the team title at 10-under par with the Bulldogs' Olivia Meinecke earning top medalist honors.
