ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The Belmont Abbey men's golf team returned to the course to open the spring season at the LMU Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate Monday at St. Johns Golf and Country Club.

After the first 36 holes, the Crusaders are in 10th with a two-round total of 605 (298-307).

Dylan Reiser finished as the top Crusader for the day with rounds of 76 and an even-par 72 and is in the Top 20. Eduardo Arango was next with a two-round total of 153 (74-79) followed by Max Newton at 155 (80-75). Newcomer Kellen Adickes shot the low round of the opening round with a 2-over par 73.

St. Mary's (Texas) leads the team portion of the tournament at 2-under par with Baptiste Touchard at 4-under par (71-69—140) leading the medalist standings.
