MT. PLEASANT, S.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's golf team returned to the course to compete at the LR/Dunes West Women's Intercollegiate Monday at Dunes West Golf Club.

Ella Wiklander and Lilianna Carcel led the way for the Crusaders in the opening round with rounds of 78 and 79, respectively. The Abbey shot 324 thorugh the first 18 holes with the second round still pending completion.

Based on scores available, Erskine leads the team tournament while North Georgia's Camryn Wright leads the medalist standings.
