ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The Belmont Abbey men's golf team completed its first tournament of the spring season as the Crusaders finished play at the LMU Spring Kickoff Tuesday at St. John's Golf and Country Club.
The Crusaders finished in a tie for ninth place with Lenoir-Rhyne after finishing with a three-round total of 907. Belmont Abbey was led by
Kellen Adickes on Tuesday, who finished a final round of 2-over par 74.
Max Newton closed the tournament with a 76 while
Mariano Estebanez Rincon and
Eduardo Arango shot 78 and 79.
Dylan Reiser was the top finisher on the day for the Abbey as he closed with an 80. St. Mary's (Texas) won the team title with a 1-over par team total (817) with Baptiste Touchard and Ilia Antoniadis of Catawba earning top medalist honors at 1-under par.
