GREENVILLE, S.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's golf team was tabbed to finish fourth in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Coaches poll released by the league office on Thursday. The poll was voted on by the league's head coaches and they can't vote for their own school.
Belmont Abbey received 80 points in the poll behind preseason favorite Erskine (121 points), Emmanuel (110) and Mount Olive (101). Erskine received 11 of the 12 first-place votes in the poll with Emmanuel garnering the final vote.
The Crusaders open the spring season at the Battle at Hilton Head February 16-17 in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
The 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championship will take place at Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina from Sunday, April 12-Tuesday, April 14.
