WINGATE, N.C. -- Freshman Michael Bullock posted a time of 23:13.52 to place 34th, leading Belmont Abbey to a ninth-place finish at the Bulldog Stampede Saturday morning.  The meet was hosted at Wingate's Cross Country Course and served as a trial meet for the NCAA Southeast Regional to be hosted there in November.

Belmont Abbey returns to action in two weeks -- Friday, October 3 -- when it competes at the Spartan Invitational in Kernersville, N.C. The meet will be run on the same course as the Conference Carolinas Championship.
