MANHEIM, Pa. — Mason Kump was named a Division II Men's Scholar All-American by The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) this week.

Kump, a redshirt senior from Coal City, West Virginia, is a sports management major at Belmont Abbey and wrestled in both the 197-pound and heavyweight weight classes.

This is the second straight year that Kump has earned the honor. In order to qualify as DII Men's Scholar All-American, student-athletes must meet the following criteria: All-American at the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.00 GPA, be National Qualifier to the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.25 GPA or Competed in 4 or more events and 3.5 GPA.

Conference Carolinas had 52 individuals from 12 institutions earn NWCA NCAA Division II Men's Scholar All-America honors as well as three programs in the Team Scholar All-America award.
