SNOW HILL, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's golf team closed out its season with its best round of the 2025 Conference Carolinas Tournament Tuesday at Cutter Creek Golf Club.

Paeton Phillippi concluded her final collegiate tournament with a final round 76 that was both the best round of the day and the tournament for the Abbey. Katie Cullen shot 78 and was the top finisher for the Crusaders, finishing in a tie for 15th. Ella Wiklander shot 80 while Ashlan Tresca shot 83.

Bethany Welch, who was substituted in the lineup for the final round, shot 86.

Belmont Abbey finished eighth as a team after closing with a final-round 317 for a 970 tournament total.

Erskine won the team title with a three-round score of 930. Keely Johnson of Emmanuel was the medalist with a three-round total of 224. She defeated Abigail Cheney of Shorter on the third playoff hole.
