BELMONT, N.C. — The Belmont Abbey women's tennis team put together one of its strongest performances of the season as the Crusaders earned a 7-0 win over North Greenville Wednesday afternoon at the Reidy Tennis Center.
The Abbey completed a sweep of the Trailblazers, taking all three doubles matches as well as all six singles matches.
Hanley Riner and
Mackenzie McCarthy were among those who won in doubles and their respective singles matches.
Alexis Burkhalter accomplished the same for the Crusaders.
With Wednesday's results, Belmont Abbey is now 9-16 overall, 2-2 in Conference Carolinas play. North Greenville is 4-14 overall, 1-5 in the league.
