HARROGATE, Tenn. — Mackenzie McCarthy and
Rebekka Collyer earned wins in singles play over two matches as the Belmont Abbey women's tennis team continued its nonconference slate against Charleston and Lincoln Memorial Saturday.
Belmont Abbey dropped both matches by scores of 4-1 against the Golden Eagles and Railsplitters. Against Charleston,
Elizabeth Vollmin and
Leilany Sanchez also earned a 7-5 win over No. 2 doubles along with the McCarthy win in No. 3 singles.
Against LMU, Collyer's win came in No. 6 singles. The full box scores will be available at a later date.
The Crusaders are now 1-5 on the season.
