Meadors's Walk-off Grand Slam Leads to Softball Split

BELMONT, N.C. -- McKenna Meadors hit a walk-off grand slam in game one of a doubleheader Friday, leading Belmont Abbey to a softball split with Concord. The Crusaders won the opener 5-1, while the Mountain Lions rebounded for a 4-3 win in the nightcap. The games were originally scheduled as part of a three-team, round-robin at Concord, but moved to Crusader Field due to expected weather in West Virginia.

With the split, The Abbey stands at 6-2, while Concord improves to 2-5.
