GOLDEN, Colo. — Caleb Moore earned three wins on Saturday as the Belmont Abbey wrestling team competed in three matches as part of the Jack Hancock Duals Saturday.
Despite the efforts from Moore, the Crusaders dropped all three matches on the day against Minnesota State (35-11), Colorado School of Mines (31-16) and Central Missouri (38-9).
Moore earned a technical fall victory at 197 over Minnesota State's Grant Cook while adding another victory over Mines' Cain Tigges via an 8-1 decision. He earned the third win via forfeit in the dual match against Central Missouri.
Kyler Pickard earned two wins as well for the Crusaders in bouts over Minnesota State's Jaquan East and Wyatt Reisz of Colorado School of Mines.
With Saturday's results, Belmont Abbey is now 3-4 on the season.

- The Crusaders are off for Christmas but return to the mat to resume Conference Carolinas competition against Mount Olive on January 2.
- The match is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start at the Wheeler Center.
