Kiersten Michel posted a team-high game of 220 and averaged 184.6 in a five-game series, helping Belmont Abbey climb to seventh place Saturday at the Warhawk Classic. Individually, Michel finished seventh, just missing all-tournament honors.
The Crusaders totaled 4,309 pins as a team, the fifth-best score on the day.
The Abbey will take place in two bracket play matches Sunday in the 5th-8th placement group.
