ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --Jonas Walton earned three national championships and a silver medal during the weekend races at the USA Cycling National Collegiate Road National Championship.

Walton won the individual time trial on Friday, defending the same title he won last year. He became Belmont Abbey's first-ever winner of the Men's Varsity Criterium on Sunday, while also claiming the first-ever championship in the Men's Varsity Individual Omniumn.

Just one day earlier, Walton finished second in the Individual Road Race.

Walton, a sophomore, placed third in the Men's Varsity All-American standings, the school's highest finisher ever.
